[Hereditary (dysplastic) diseases of the joints].

Using the intentional procedures to reveal systemic semantic interrelations between different phenomena that form the causative-sequential chain in joint diseases of dysplasia genesis and assuming the pathology theory laws as a basis, applying the methodologies of different interdisciplinary sciences and the technology of cognitive simulation, the conceptual model "joint dysplasia--dysplasia arthrosis" was developed. This model depicts the characteristic features of joint dysplasia. The use of the model permitted one to base and describe a group of inherited (depressional) diseases of joints as an independent scientific orthopedo-arthrological problem. The application of the conceptual model confirmed its high cognitive and reforming role. Using this model on a knee joint new syndromes of dysplasia have been described; the system of roentgenometric diagnosis of dysplasia anomalies and new methods of surgical intervention have been elaborated; the foundation has been laid of prophylactic surgery aimed at the exclusion or at the minimizing of the risk of gonarthrosis in persons suffering from different inherited syndromes.

Humans

[Results of ceramoplasty of the supra-acetabular area in dysplasia of the hip joint].

The authors present their results of using ceramic implants for the reconstruction of the supraacetabular area in 43 patients of various age groups. On the basis of a biomechanical investigation the results of positive effect of the acetabular vault reconstruction with ceramic implants on the statics and kinematics of the hip joint are acknowledge.

[Biomechanical substantiation of the form and position of endoprosthesis of the acetabular vault in dysplasia].

Many surgical methods have been suggested for the reconstruction of the vault of the acetabulum affected by dysplasia. However, the absence of the mathematical substantiation in most of them makes the choice of an optimal intervention difficult. In this paper a graphic analysis of the forces acting on the formed vault of the acetabulum is presented. It is demonstrated that the chosen pyramidal form and the position of the endoprosthesis are adequate to the pressure of the femoral head. The calculations that have out have been carried shown that the forces contributing to the consolidation of the whole construction act in the "endoprosthesis-hipbone" contract area. These mathematical prerequisites are the substantiation for the clinical application of such kind of endoprosthesis both for children and for adults with dysplasia of the vault of the acetabulum.
