[Effectiveness and duration of glucocorticoids in myocardial infarct (an experimental study)].
The authors studied the effect of prednisolone on the course of experimental myocardial infarction in rats. The results provide evidence that the effect of prednisolone on the course of experimental myocardial infarction is favourable when it is used in the first 6 days; medication with this drug over a longer period of time or its use in later stages is not recommended.
