Recruiting physicians. Making the right choices.

Abstract

Problems result when prepaid groups do not recruit physicians who fit well within the organization. Both the physician and the organization bring very specific needs to the recruitment process, and in the course of fulfilling these needs they may not fully evaluate each other. This article describes a comprehensive evaluation process that includes the role of the physician and the organization as well as tips for successful interviews.
