Minimally invasive therapy.
Abstract
Minimally invasive therapy is a new and important development in medicine. With minimal disruption to the patient's body or way of life, outcomes are at least as effective and procedures are safer than conventional surgery. But there are clear implications for management on costs, and organisational and strategic issues.
