Multihospital systems: promises and problems.

Abstract

More and more hospitals are finding benefits in closer relationships with other hospitals. But disadvantages, problems, and conflicts need to be overcome also. The author gives a brief summation of the pros and cons of such arrangements, as well as information on the AHA's Center for Multihospital Systems and Shared Services Organizations.
