Voluntary services: cause rather than concept.
Abstract
Voluntary enterprise is deeply rooted in British social life. There is no reason to assume it will be any less crucial in the remaining thousand weeks of the twentieth century than it has in the past. This was the burden of a talk given by David Hobman, director, Age Concern England, to an NCSS seminar.
