New dimensions in board-CEO relations.
Abstract
Hospitals can vary greatly in the development of board-CEO relations. This article, based on a 1985 American Hospital Association survey of hospital governing boards, examines those differences in four key areas: CEO tenure, performance evaluation, incentive compensation plans, and CEO contracts.
