Two viewpoints: the preparation of a request for proposal. Viewpoint #2.
Abstract
The time involved with writing a Request for Proposal is considerable. However, valuable time will be saved during the evaluation process, lessening the possibility of a costly mistake. Extending the RFP to a matrix evaluation form allows input from all persons involved in the decision-making process and displays the information in a clear manner, making the overall decision much easier. By using this process in the selection and purchase of capital equipment, the probability that you will make the best possible decision becomes more of a certainty.
