Abstract

Community members, donors and other stakeholders increasingly want a say in a building project's final design, and hospitals have much to gain by asking patients how a building can be designed around their needs. To keep the process from spinning out of control, experts recommend keeping focus groups tightly focused and taking a run-through in a full-scale mock-up.
