[Statistics for physicians--part III].
Abstract
Authors present a series of papers describing basic statistical methods used in biomedical research and publications. Part three deals with statistical hypotheses, type I and type II errors, one-sided or two-sided tests. Finally, the most frequent types of testing the differences are described.
