[Commentary on primary prevention].
Abstract
In this brief review current guidelines on prevention of atherosclerotic diseases and latest results as well as personal views are presented. It is not my purpose to give a complete overview on this subject; however, some important aspects will be discussed to keep this subject in the forefront of interest.
