[On the description of migration using counting processes].
Abstract
"In this paper modern counting process theory is used to describe the migrations of inhabitants of an area between the regions of this area, e.g. between the 11 federal states of the Federal Republic of Germany.... It is assumed that the migration behaviour of an individual inhabitant is described by a Markov process." The advantages of using counting process theory are discussed. (summary in ENG)
