Abstract

The Regional Court at Munich, Federal Republic of Germany, held that the defendant, a private insurance company, must pay for all five artificial insemination attempts performed on a woman covered by the insurance contract. The Court ruled that so long as the physician performing the procedures believes that there is a possibility of success, the insurance company must pay for them.
