Caveat preparator: maxillary second bicuspid root invaginations.
Abstract
Seventy-five percent of maxillary second bicuspids have a single pulpal canal. The remainder present dual canals with one or two associated apical orifices and proximal root concavities. This latter phenomenon may well lead to root perforations when placing posts. The following case documents such an occurrence.
