Improving resolution in MRI by interleaving data acquisition for increased digitization rates.
Abstract
In certain situations in magnetic resonance imaging the digital resolution in the frequency encode direction may be compromised by hardware limits on data digitization rates. We demonstrate a method of overcoming this restriction, without hardware modifications, by interleaving data from several acquisitions to produce a higher resolution composite data set.
