[Classification of plasmids--approaches and problems].
Abstract
An important part in human and veterinary infections is played by plasmids resistant to antibiotics. During basis investigations of plasmids and their epidemiology it was necessary to introduce typical classification groups of plasmids. Different approaches can be used when creating such groups. In the submitted work the author discusses some experimental approaches to the problem. Part of the work is devoted to phenotype fi, to the morphological, serological and phagotyping conjugation of pili. The author discusses in detail the classification of plasmids into incompatible groups, their technical and methodological problems. Special attention was focused on new approaches of classification of plasmids based on typing of replicons.
