Methodological implications of simultaneous solid-phase peptide synthesis: a comparison of active esters.
Abstract
Simultaneous competition and comparison methods have been used to compare the activities of a wide variety of reactive esters for solid phase peptide synthesis. The results generally conform to expectations from the literature; the most active being dinitrophenyl esters. Pentafluorophenyl esters provide the most suitable selection for routine use.
