Code pink: a system for neonatal resuscitation.

Abstract

It has been documented that the care given to the high-risk neonate in the first moments after birth correlates with the incidence of mortality and morbidity in the first 24 hours of life. In an effort to reach optimal outcome for each individual infant, Columbia Hospital for Women developed an emergency system for neonatal resuscitation and provided a team of highly skilled professionals to deliver this emergency care. "Code Pink" provided an effective method of reducing mortality and morbidity and improving outcome.
