Learning disorders.

Abstract

Learning disorders, not explained by low intelligence, are common in children. They include difficulties in reading, spelling and mathematics and are often associated with overactivity and poor concentration. Prenatal perinatal and postnatal factors may be aetiologically important and treatment should be aimed at the cause.
