Abstract

Effective communication and recognition of individual excellence are important in any profession. We in nursing have recognized this fact and often incorporate these into our professional practice. An inhouse hospital nursing newsletter is one of the most recent developments that hospital departments of nursing use to meet these goals. This article attempts to demystify the process of establishing an editorial board, identifying topics, setting deadlines, working with a printer, and formulating a budget.
