This study aims to develop an electronic nursing and caring system to manage patients' information and provide patients with safe and efficient services. By transmitting data among wireless cards, optical network, and mainframe computer, nursing care will be delivered more systematically and patients' safety centered caring will be delivered more efficiently and effectively. With this system, manual record keeping time was cut down, and relevant nursing and caring information was linked up. With the development of an electronic nursing system, nurses were able to make the best use of the Internet resources, integrate information management systematically and improve quality of nursing and caring service.
This article aims to discuss the problem of caring, researching and teaching in hospital nursing: general characteristics of Modern Nursing -- teaching and practice paradigm; characteristics of the Nightingale System. The research methodology was based on the analysis of fundamental care, research and teaching concepts in nursing practice, involving technical and gnoseological implications for pedagogical and research practice, which are illustrated through examples of hospital research. These entail repercussions for an epistemology of nursing. We highlight professional attitudes for the state of the art. The author evokes the need for disclosure, for efficient research methods and result reliability in (oncology?) nursing care, research and teaching activities. The conclusion points towards the relevance of nursing as a social practice and the problem of nursing activities in any area of care pragmatics -- whether in or outside the hospital context.
A reflection on the elements that structure the process of the nurse's work with health and his/ her action. The study deals with health work, technologies in health and the management of care as pillars that serve as bases for the reflection, with the aim of helping the enlargement of the visibility of the nurse's acts. The importance of those fundaments for the exercise of care practices in the managing processes is highlighted.
