Ethnic differences in cancer frequency.
Abstract
Ethnic and racial differences in cancer incidence, mortality and survival are well documented for many tumor sites. For skin cancer and probably for some other sites such differences have their foundation in biological characteristics that presumably reflect genetically determined differences. In other cases, apparent racial differences in fact reflect and must be distinguished from, associated co--variables including socio--economic and cultural factors.
