Cortex removal at 12 o'clock.
Abstract
A simple, safe, and effective method for removing residual cortex at 12 o'clock is presented. This technique can be used by surgeons who perform extracapsular cataract extractions and also facilitates the superior loop placement of a posterior chamber lens within the remaining capsule.
