The need for end-user studies: IMA's experience.
Abstract
Since 1966 two main types of studies have been carried out at IMA: (a) Studies conducted before the implementation of MEDLINE, to investigate the information needs of future users. (b) Studies of the actual use of the system. The main results of these studies are presented.
