Is binocular visual space constantly curved?
Abstract
This is a contribution to the theory of binocular vision due to Luneburg and Blank. We give a short introduction to the theory and consider the various assumptions that have been made. Then we discuss several methods in order to test Luneburg's basic assumption of constant curvature empirically.
