Modified small group ACLS instructor/provider course.

Abstract

We describe a modification of an instructor/provider advanced cardiac life support course which allows not only the teaching of large numbers of ACLS providers but also the concurrent development of enough instructors to ensure an adequate number of trained faculty for teaching the increasing number of ACLS courses. In addition, the method described allows those with small numbers of ACLS providers to develop a core faculty.
