[Morphological problems in diagnostic kidney biopsies].
Abstract
It was tried to describe the most important problems in the routine bioptic diagnostics of the kidneys which may lead to a restriction of the evidence. The difficulties may be traced back to the examination material (quality and quantity), they concern the limited possibilities of the technical treatment in examination material of out-of-town institutions, and they can be established in the findings themselves. In repeated biopsies, apart from this, the choice of the right time for the repeated diagnostic intervention play a role. The difficulties may be considerably reduced, when the taking of tissue and its pathohistologic judgment are performed by experienced physicians, the adequate morphological additional methods may be applied and there is a close cooperation between clinicians and pathohistologists. Under these conditions the bioptic diagnostics of kidneys is of high effectivity.
