Intershift report: a quality improvement project.
Abstract
Staff nurse complaints about the length and quality of intershift report led to a quality improvement project. After identifying current intershift strengths and weakness, recommendations for improving intershift report were implemented. Periodic audits document the ongoing quality of intershift report.
