Halitosis: a review.
Abstract
Offensive or 'bad' breath (foetor ex ore) has traditionally become known as halitosis and can be very distressing for the individual concerned. This paper reviews the causes and management of halitosis for the general practitioner, who is in an ideal situation to help such patients.
