Managing for high performance results.
Abstract
Effective efficient and thorough veterinary medicine requires the merging of several disciplines. The business plan is to be set, the correct personnel must be placed within the practice, the operation of the establishment is dependent on a sound infrastructure, adequate financial income is necessary to lubricate the enterprise, and a marketing strategy is needed to match veterinary service products with the community. Once all of this is in operation, a method must be established to monitor the entire business to ensure that the core business of veterinary medicine and people remain the focus of the veterinary practice.
