Drug discovery: some directional pointers.
Abstract
Everybody in the pharmaceutical industry has a view on management and drug discovery. In this article, David Clarke expresses his personal views. Emphasis is placed on the role of the scientist, and the influence of the manager in programmatic scientific decision making is de-emphasized. An operational scheme for reorganization is proposed.
