Abstract

According to a poll conducted by Pollara, the public places more trust in nurses than in any other profession. Of the four professions in which Canadians place most trust, nurses ranked the highest with 79% of the survey choosing them as the most trustworthy. Doctors came second with 63%, followed by teachers (60%) and police officers (56%).
