[Are hospitals changing?].
Abstract
Thoughts regarding the various changes in the evolution of the health care industry, particularly the idea of product, professional relationships and management models. Commentary regarding the development of organizations like the magnet hospitals in the U.S. leads to the question: the level of nursing is higher than ever but are we changing the hospitals (where are a majority of nurses work) to take advantage of that level of knowledge that nurses have attained?
