[How to develop a quality system].

Abstract

When principles relating to quality assurance are known and understood, they must still be practically and progressively implemented. Many complementary actions are described for the building of a quality system in a blood bank. The aim is to control the quality organization, operational processes and the ensuing documentary system. Some critical points about the development of a quality system and its timelessness are then discussed.
