A time for healing.
Abstract
For three days during World War II, medical personnel, including Pennsylvania physicians, initiated a series of three truces for the Americans and Germans to remove the dead and tend to their wounded. The Pennsylvania Medical Society recently obtained a print of a painting memorializing the event.
