Exercise echocardiography: technique and diagnostic value.
Abstract
Exercise echocardiography has experienced a rapid rise in clinical acceptance because of its recognized ability to detect coronary artery disease in addition to attractive features such as portability, versatility and relatively low cost. To achieve and maintain accuracy and diagnostic yield, adequate training of the sonographer and the cardiologist is essential.
