The genome sequence of the Scarce Umber, Agriopis aurantiaria (Hübner, 1799).

We present a genome assembly from an individual male Agriopis aurantiaria (the Scarce Umber; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The genome sequence is 485.4 megabases in span. The whole assembly is scaffolded into 30 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.44 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 16,963 protein coding genes.

The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 470.37 megabases and 472.86 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (98.95%) is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.38 kilobases in length.

We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of Altica lythri (flea beetle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Chrysomelidae). This was a triploid specimen and one subgenome was assembled. The genome sequence has a total length of 1,003.51 megabases. Most of the assembly (82.29%) is scaffolded into 12 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 18.39 kilobases. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 18,969 protein-coding genes.
