[Radiological diagnosis of juvenile urination disorders].

Voiding disturbances and available radiologic examinations are reported. The importance of a correct analysis of the findings for the orthopedic, nephrologic and neurologic treatment is emphasized. Intravenous urograms and voiding cystogram are standard methods; recently ultrasound is also included in the management of children with neurogenic bladder.

Child

[Urination disorders following general surgery].

The disturbance of miction after general surgical operations has three causes. They exist individually and combined. The first cause is a relative trauma of anaesthesiological remedies. They have a central site of action in the brain stem and a peripheral one in the parasympathetic and sympathetic ganglian of the urinary bladder. The second cause is an operative trauma of the abdomino-pelvic initial reflex of the miction. The two traumata, the vegetative and the mechanical one, decompensate an imminent neuropathic or obstructive reduction of the urinary bladder. The two traumata are prolonged by abdominal, pulmonary and cerebral insufficiency. The third cause is a direct lesion of the sacral plexus pelvicus. - The postoperative disturbance of miction concerns about 25% of all operated persons. Children are specifically rarely concerned. Operations on the lower half of the body cause the disturbance of miction by far more frequently than operations on the upper half of the body or on extremities. The therapy consists of a rational, liberal and differentiated use of the catheter, further in parasympathomimetic and sympatholytic medication, in the obstructively or neuropathically decompensated cases in transurethral operative correction of the outlet of the urinary bladder.

Anesthesia, General

[Postoperative urine transport disorders after supravesical urinary diversion].

By means of the intravenous urography we controlled the behaviour of the deriving urinary tracts after supravesical deviation of the urine using the intestine. In 70 patients 131 uretero-enterostomies were evaluated. The urogram pictures made postoperatively in different time intervals independent upon the intestinal segment used and upon the operation technique revealed after 4 weeks in 85.4% of the cases a clear disturbance of the transport of urine, partly up to the full picture of retention kidney. Under application of antibiotics and prednisolone these pathophysiological changes significantly receded. After 24 weeks the percentage decreased to 12.2.

[Types of urination in men according to urodynamic flow measurement data].

The work is grounded on the analysis of the urination parameters, obtained from the examination of 195 men with various urological pathologies and of 100 healthy individuals, through urodynamofluometry--a new method of the express-diagnosis of the urination disorders. 5 types of the urination according to its volume have been distinguished. The devised system of the quantitative-qualitative evaluation of the urination is an attempt to differentiate various conditions of the urodynamics of the lower urinary passages versus the peculiarities of their anatomo-functional state in men.
