[Effect of the combined use of rifampicin and a low-molecular immunomodulator of natural origin on the primary immune response to the antigens of a tularemia vaccinal strain].

The effect of rifampicin combination with a natural low molecular immunomodulator on the primary immune response to the antigens of tularemia vaccine was studied with the methods of multifactor designing of the experiment. The dependence of the delayed hypersensitivity and antibody titer on doses of the antibiotic and immunomodulator and the time of the immunomodulator administration was manifested by the second order equation. Nomographs for precise quantitative estimation of the doses and regimens providing the maximal delayed type hypersensitivity and antibody titers were plotted.

[Comparative effectiveness of immunomodulators in the therapy of bronchopulmonary diseases].

One hundred and fifty-one patients with bronchopulmonary diseases were examined and it was shown that they had secondary immune deficiency mainly in the T-cells which could not be recovered with the routine therapeutic agents. The use of hemodez, levamisole or sodium nucleinate in the combined therapy promoted correction of the immune deficiency and increased the treatment efficacy. Sodium nucleinate proved to be the most efficient.

[Synthesis of messenger-like RNA in plasma cels producing different clases of immunoglobulins].

Electrophoretic analysis of the nuclear poly A RNA cells of the MOPC 21, MOPC 406 and MOPC 41 plasmocytomas demonstrated a similarity in their distribution by the mol wt. Kinetics of the label accumulation in the nuclear poly A RNA of different plasma cells was unitypical. Individual peculiarities of the distribution of the cytoplasmic poly A RNA were expressed for each individual line of the myeloma cells. The majority of the molecules of the heterogenous RNA in the plasma cells were subjected to posttranscription polyadenylation.
