[Isochromanylpencillins].

(R/S)-Isochroman-1-carboxylic acid (1) is resolved to its enantiomers and as well as these reacted with 6-aminopenicillanic acid to the title compounds 2. The activity of the new penicillin-derivatives against gram positive and gram negative bacteria is compared with that of benzyl penicillin.

[Immunochemical determination of saccharin].

Saccharin is coupled to bovine serum albumin by spacers via the five membered as well as the six membered ring. Rabbits treated with these immunogenic conjugates give precipitating antibodies which are used for coating polystyrol tubes and microtiter plates. Saccharin is determined down to 0.1 mg/l, the detector reaction being performed by a saccharin horseradish peroxidase conjugate and hydrogen peroxide/1,2-diaminobenzen as substratum.

[N-phosphorylated amino acids as potential cytostatics].

Phosphoramidic dichlorides 3 are synthesized by nucleophilic attack of methyl 2-(1-ethylenimino)-alkanoates 1 on POCl3 or by the reaction of amino acid methyl ester hydrochlorides 2 with POCl3. Subsequent treatment of 3 with ethylenimine affords the TEPA-analogs 4, and with 3-(1-ethylenimino)-1-propanol (6) the IFOSFAMID analogous 1,3,2-oxaza-phosphorines 5, the cytostatic activity of which was tested in the P388-leukemia of the CD2F1-mouse.
