[Studies on knee function and injuries].
The development of arthroscopy for diagnosis and treatment has resulted in improvement in the treatment of knee joint disease and injury. Despite technical improvements, however, reconstruction of cruciate ligaments is still far from obtaining optimal results, and techniques for promoting the healing of cartilage defects are still lacking.
