Hepatocellular carcinoma arising in a patient with genetic haemachromatosis, without cirrhosis, has only been described once previously. We present a patient with a 15 year history of genetic haemachromatosis who underwent resection of a hepatocellular carcinoma in a liver with normal architecture.

The first British case of fibroblastic rheumatism is reported. Treatment with apha-interferon in combination with a reducing course of steroids resulted in some regression of the cutaneous nodules, and initial improvement in the skin fibrosis and digital contractures.
A 26-year-old man presented with superior vena caval obstruction. He underwent excision of a malignant teratoma which contained benign hepatic tissue. Three years later he represented with a recurrence and underwent a second resection. Histology of the resected specimen demonstrated hepatocellular carcinoma arising in the hepatic component of the recurrent malignant teratoma intermediate.
