A case of a 42 year old multiparous female with bilateral angiosarcoma of the breast without any evidence of dissemination, who later also developed a psammomatous meningioma, is described herein. The world literature on angiosarcoma is reviewed and a discussion presented on the incidence of bilaterality, hormonal stimulation, diagnostic difficulty, prognostic factors and treatment modalities.
A rare paraganglioma of the cauda equina is reported. The clinical, radiological and histological features of this neoplasm are described. Diagnosis was resolved by the absence of glial fibrillary acid protein and electron microscopic evidence of neurosecretory features. Relevant literature is reviewed.
An unusual case of paraganglioma arising from the internal auditory meatus and growing into the cerebello-pontine angle is reported. Clinical features, pre-operative radiological appearances and intra-operative findings were indistinguishable from those of an acoustic neurinoma. However, the paraganglionic nature of the tumour was confirmed by the electron microscopic evidence of neurosecretory features.

A case of a medulloblastoma with extensive intradural dissemination and direct tumour spread from a lumbosacral deposit in the pelvis is presented. A review of the literature revealed six similar cases. In all of them direct invasion of contiguous structures occurred at sites of secondary deposits. Two predilection site were identified: 1. The anterior fossa with tumour invasion of the paranasal air sinuses. 2. The lumbosacral spine with tumour extension into the retroperitoneum and pelvis. Generally, this unusual mode of tumour spread indicates a final stage in the course of the disease. The possible pathogenesis is discussed.
Gastric duplications are uncommon. We report a case in a Saudi female neonate who was treated by stapling the double stomach using a PLC 50 stapling device. Also reviewed is the literature on gastric duplication.

The authors report a rare case of cranial and intracranial mycetoma which presented with occipital sinuses, extensive involvement of skull vault and base, an extradural granuloma and intracranial hypertension. Radiological appearances are reviewed. The computerized tomography findings are the first of their kind for this condition. The diagnosis and treatment of this disease are discussed.

A 22-month-old Saudi child developed a granulomatous lesion of the left humerus following BCG vaccination in the overlying deltoid area 15 days after birth. The clinical picture, investigations and the histopathology reports are presented. The literature regarding BCG vaccine complications and their frequency is reviewed.

We report a case of Turcot's syndrome in a 20-year old man with multiple adenomatous polyps of the colon and glioblastoma multiforme. Detailed histopathological study of all 25 polyps removed from his colon confirmed the distinct morphological and numerical features of the colonic polyposis in Turcot's syndrome. Moreover, 45% of the total polyps and all polyps with a diameter exceeding 2 cm showed malignant transformation, indicating the precancerous nature of these polyps. These findings are discussed together with data obtained from a literature review of 32 histopathologically confirmed cases of Turcot's syndrome with reference to the possible heterogeneous nature of the syndrome at the present time. The current views on the relationship of Turcot's syndrome to other polyposis coli syndromes are presented.
