Bis(ethylenediamine)copper(II) bis(O,O'-diethyl dithiophosphate).

In the structure of the title compound, [Cu(II)(en)(2)][(EtO)(2)P(S)S](2) (en is ethylenediamine) or [Cu(C(2)H(8)N(2))(2)](C(4)H(10)O(2)PS(2))(2), the Cu atom lies on a center of inversion and is coordinated in a slightly distorted square coordination geometry by four N atoms from two ethylenediamine molecules. The diethyl dithiophosphate moieties, (EtO)(2)P(S)S(-), act as counter-anions.

Syn- and anticlinal isomers of 2a'-acetoxy-1,7'-diacetyl-7',7a'-dihydro-2-oxospiro[1H-indole-3(2H),2'(2a'H)-oxeto[3,2-b]indole].

In the syn- and anticlinal isomers of the title compound, C(22)H(18)N(2)O(6), the indole moiety is not completely planar, with the pyrrolidine ring being distorted very slightly towards a conformation intermediate between half-chair and envelope. The molecular and packing structures in the crystals of these isomers are stabilized by C-H...O interactions.

4-[3-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoyl]phenyl methacrylate and 4-[3-(2-bromophenyl)prop-2-enoyl]phenyl methacrylate.

Chalcones (alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones) are effective antitumour agents. It has been proved that having halogen or methoxy groups substituted in various positions of the phenyl ring enhances the activity of chalcones many times. The title compounds, C21H20O5 and C19H15BrO3, respectively, were chosen for crystallographic study in order to determine their structures and conformations. In both compounds, the keto group is in the s-cis conformation and is almost planar. There are weak intramolecular interactions in both structures.

N-(ferrocenecarbonyl)-N'-(quinolin-8-yl)thiourea.

In the title compound, [Fe(C5H5)(C16H12N3OS)], the 8-aminoquinoline and acylthiourea moieties are almost planar. There are two perpendicular arrangements of the molecules in the crystal with slightly different conformations. The two cyclopentadienyl rings in each molecule are parallel and eclipsed.

Hexamethylenetetraminium 2,4,6-trinitrophenolate.

In the title complex, the 1:1 ionic adduct of hexamethylenetetraminium and 2,4,6-trinitrophenolate, C6H13N4+*C6H2N3O7-, the cation acts as a donor for bifurcated hydrogen bonds to the O atoms of the phenolate and one of the nitro groups of the 2,4,6-trinitrophenolate anion. The crystal structure is built from sheets of cations and anions, and is stabilized by intermolecular C-H...O and C-H...pi interactions.

A 1:1 adduct of hexamethylenetetramine and 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde.

In the title complex, C6H12N4*C8H8O3, the hexamethylenetetramine molecule accepts a single intermolecular O-H...N hydrogen bond from the hydroxy group of the 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde moiety. The non-centrosymmetric crystal structure is built from alternating molecular sheets of 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde and hexamethylenetetramine molecules, and is stabilized by intermolecular O-H...N, C-H...O and C-H...pi interactions.
