Fax technology: elegant solution for lab.
Abstract
A shot in the arm from fax technology has invigorated a cumbersome manual laboratory system at Baptist Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. Using a hot, proliferating technology, BMC developed a system for lab ordering/results reporting that interfaces to the LIS mainframe, links to stations on and offsite, and is less costly than other alternatives.
