[Population movement within small areas].
Abstract
Internal migration trends in Hungary between 1962 and 1982 are analyzed. The socioeconomic causes and consequences of migration are first reviewed. Changes in the distribution of migration among counties over time are then examined. "In order to measure these changes, four-dimensional row vectors, based on standardized data, are elaborated and used for demonstrating the structure of movement. Finally, an attempt is made to forecast the movement of the population, based on the structure described in this way." (SUMMARY IN ENG AND RUS)
