Managing quality in services.
Abstract
Much attention has been given to quality in recent years. But why is quality important, particularly in health and social care? This two-part series draws on material developed by Professor Euan Henderson for one of the courses offered by the Open University's School of Health and Social Welfare. This first article examines why quality is important to patients, their carers and staff.
