Abstract

In the past, the courts tended to rule on antitrust cases in the health care field largely on the basis of motions. Increasingly, however, they are now viewing these cases on their merits. What is more, the Federal Trade Commission has shown an interest in looking more closely at the health care field in terms of antitrust activities.
