[Diagnostic possibilities of polysegmental occlusive rheoplethysmography in disorders of arterial circulation of the lower extremities].

The method of polysegmentary occlusive rheoplethysmography was used in 90 patients with endarteritis and obliterating atherosclerosis in order to establish the phasic character of blood filling curves, the dependence of the curve prophile on the alterations in blood circulation. It facilitated diagnostics of localization and character of injuries of the arteries, detection of the collateral blood flow and the presence of compensatory vasodilatation or pathological arterio-venous output.

[Occlusion rheoplethysmography].

The investigation of the peripheral circulation by using the all-purpose occlusion rheoplethysmography enables the reaction of rising the venous tone in response to the action exerted by the tissue ischemia products to be quantitatively estimated along with a one-time determination of the arterial and venous hemodynamics of the crus at rest and in reactive hyperemia. The blood flow volume-velocity rates determined by means of the proposed method are of a considerable diagnostic value for characterization of the peripheral hemodynamics in patients with cardio-vascular pathology, in performing pharmacological tests and in medication with drugs displaying vasoactive properties.

[Mosaic portrait method in the prognosis of myocardial infarct complications].

A mosaic portrait of variants of the course of myocardial infarction differing in the clinical picture of the first days of the disease was created by means of methods of Boolean algebra and electronic computers. A total of 354 patients with transmural myocardial infarction were examined., The created models allow the development of some complications of myocardial infarction to be prognosticated exact within 90%.
