[Dynamics of vegetative functions in dehydration].
Abstract
The organism vegetative responses of the cardio-vascular and respiratory systems were studied in dogs under conditions of absolute or relative dehydration. The dehydration process was shown to proceed in two stages: the first one only involved inner compensatory mechanisms with a decrease in the heart rate and irregular breathing; the second stage revealed a motivational excitation with respective increase in the heart rate and breathing.
